The port of Teluk Sabang will be developed as an “International Hub” port that can serve container ships with a size of 10,000 TEUs to create an entrance for logistic flow to the Western regions of Indonesia due to the increasing volume of container traffic up to 12.4 million TEUs in 2039. The seaport is projected to obtain additional demand from four competitors, namely Port of Singapore, Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Port Klang, and Penang Port. Project scope: Infrastructure & superstructure investment for extensive multipurpose terminal; Industrial estate development to support port business services; Strategic partner between BPKS and private sector.

Container Terminal (2 units) : Capacity: 2.4 m TEUS, Facility: Rail-mounted Gantry Crane for Suez max Vessels Productivity: 25-30 BCH. 2. Multipurpose Terminal (1 unit) : Design Vessel: Conventional General Cargo Vessel or Multipurpose Vessel up to 20.000 DWT, Facility: Mobile Harbor Crane, Capacity: 45 Ton Lifting Cap
